Um pouco da riqueza na cultura marroquina
Há alguns dias estive visitando a cidade de Marrakech, em Marrocos, norte da África. Nesse tópico comentarei sobre a riqueza cultural presente nessa cidade. Resolvi escrever sobre esse fato devido à visão errônea que a maior parte das pessoas têm sobre outros países, em especial os que fazem parte do continente africano.
Marrakech é a segunda maior cidade do Marrocos, após Casablanca, conhecida como “a cidade vermelha”. Situa-se ao pé da Cordilheira do Atlas é contemplada com uma paisagem interessante que assemelha-se à cidade de Santiago em Chile que fica ao pé da Cordilheira do Andes. Da cidade foi possível ver o cume da cordilheira coberto por neve, sendo que a temperatura estava quase a 40 graus.
O que me chamou mais atenção foi saber que os marroquinos são poliglotas quase na totalidade. Falam fluentemente o árabe, berbere e o francês devido sua relação com a França. Alguns outros falam também espanhol e inglês. Sendo assim, não encontrei dificuldades quanto à comunicação. Esse fato me deixou surpreso, pois embora socioeconomicamente carentes é possível perceber uma rica educação linguística, o que não é possível observar em países de primeiro mundo como, por exemplo, os Estados Unidos e a França.
Outro fator importante que observei foi a excelente hospitalidade desse povo. Embora perturbem os turistas para venderem “seu peixe”, quando os negócios são deixados à parte, eles são muito abertos para conversar e mostram que são apaixonados pelo futebol brasileiro. Talvez seja por serem tão abertos que aprendem facilmente tantas línguas.
Em relação aos recursos, possuem uma riqueza em metais preciosos, frutas, tecidos e couro. Portanto, é possível fazer uma boa compra quando se deseja algo do tipo. Porém, há um item em que queria alertá-los. Ao comprar qualquer tipo de bem durável ou não na Medina, negocie sempre! A maioria das vezes é possível pagar apenas 35% do preço inicialmente pedido pelo vendedor, portanto fique atento!
A bit of wealth in Moroccan culture
A few days ago I was visiting the city of Marrakech, Morocco, North Africa. In this discussion I will comment on the cultural richness found in this city. I decided to write about this fact because the erroneous view that most people have about other countries, especially those that are part of the African continent.
Marrakech is the second largest city in Morocco after Casablanca, known as the "Red City". It lies at the side of the Atlas Mountains is covered with an interesting landscape that resembles the city of Santiago in Chile, which lies at the side of the Cordillera of the Andes. The city could see the summit of the mountain covered with snow, and the temperature was nearly 40 degrees.
What caught my attention was knowing that the Moroccans are multilingual almost in its entirety. Speak fluent Arabic, Berber and French because of its relationship with France. Some others also speak Spanish and English fluently. So, I found no difficulties in communication. This fact surprised me, because although socioeconomically disadvantaged is possible to realize a rich language education, which is not possible to observe in first world countries such as the United States and France.
Another important factor observed was the excellent hospitality of the people. Although disturb the tourists to sell "their fish", when businesses are left aside, they are very open to talk and show that they are passionate about Brazilian soccer. Maybe by being so open to learn as many languages easily.
In relation to resources, have a wealth of precious metals, fruits, textiles and leather. Therefore, it is possible to make a good deal when they want something. But there is one item you wanted to alert you. When buying any type of durable or not in Medina, bargain ever! Most times you can pay only 35% of the price initially asked by the seller, so stay tuned!
